- Application for tour guide service requires a minimum of 20 persons (if less than 20, fees for ferry and tour guide service will be charged for 20 persons).
- If tour guide service is not needed, group application requires a minimum of 10 persons (if less than 10, fee for ferry will be charged for 10 persons).
- Application for workshops requires a minimum of 10 persons (if less than 10, fee for workshop will be charged for 10 persons).
- Applications for tour guide service and workshops should be submitted 30 days ahead of schedule. If not, services may not be arranged.
- The earliest departure time from Sai Kung is 9am; the latest return time is 5pm.
- The Centre reserves the right to adjust ferry service time, charges, tour guide service and other services.
- Payment will be made at the reception on the day of visit, acceptable for cash or cheque.
- Please make your cheque payable to “The Salt & Light Preservation Centre Ltd.” Payment by cheque before the visit is welcome, please send it to Box 146, Sai Kung Post Office. If you would like to pay after the day of visit, it must be discussed with us in advance.
- Please inform us 5 days before the visit if the number of people was reduced, otherwise charges for the original number of people will be made. If there are additional people on the day of visit, charges will be made depending on the actual number.
- Cancellation or reduction of number of people informed in less than 5 days will not be accommodated, but the day of visit can be changed.
- If cancellation is due to inclement weather, please read “arrangement for inclement weather” below.
- Ferry service will be suspended when red/black rainstorm warning signal or typhoon signal no. 3 or above is hoisted or when the Inner Sea is foggy or other emergency happens. Groups scheduled visit on that day can choose to cancel or change the day of visit.
- If the visit is cancelled, no charge will be made. The payment by cheque sent will be fully refunded.
