The Yim Tin Tsai Village Office is a place for villagers to gather and socialise, but since the 1960s, the village office was gradually abandoned as villagers moved out of Yim Tin Tsai. As an indispensable facility in a village settlement, the office was restored in the early stages of the revitalisation of Yim Tin Tsai. Village watchmen were hired to ensure the safety of the village so that the revitalisation project could proceed smoothly. At present, there is a township teahouse outside the village office, which facilitates villagers’ gatherings and organisation of events.
